Donate to Emergency Medical Assistance (EMA) to provide funding for women that cannot afford an abortion.
We are very fortunate to work with an extraordinary organization, Emergency Medical Assistance (EMA), who generously contributes to funding abortions for women with financial challenges. They were established in the early 1970s by our mentor and inspiration, Harriette Glasner. They also help with transportation and lodging for women who need to travel to access our services.
As EMA saw the number of patients who had to travel to our Center increasing, they created a new component of their organization called EMA’s ANGELS. This incredible group – all volunteers - are dedicated to providing practical support to make our traveling patient’s abortion care experience easier. This includes offering food, gas gift cards, and other items. We are proud of how our community comes together to support our patients!
